Today is the first day of the local carnival concerts where I live - and in order to keep with tradition; I wanted to wear my clubs shirt for this years show. Also because of this, my hair will be in tight curls for the next two weeks outfits as this is how I have to wear it for the show.
I started with my club polo shirt and then paired it with my favourite high waist jeans (£10, Primark) to keep the look simple and casual. Then I added a pair of black ballet flats I bought at the weekend (£4, Primark) and my black boyfriend blazer (£24.99) to make it look more put together.
For hair, I had it curled for carnival and then I just twisted my fringe out of the way to keep it curled but still out of my face; and for jewellery I kept it simple with just my fatima hand necklace. For makeup, I kept it simple as I will have to do my show makeup later so I just wore a nude eyeshadow (Urban Decay Naked from the Naked 1 palette), black mascara and black pencil liner. I then finished it off with a classic red lipstick (Rimmel Kate Red Nose Day lipstick).
