MUA blusher in shade 6
I initially picked up this blusher as it looked such a nice colour in the packaging and was only £1! However, I have tried to use it multiple times in a variety of ways - but have had no successes with it. The colour is really nice on the skin - but it doesn't blend very well at all, doesn't stay on the skin and crumbles as soon as you apply a brush to it. MUA is usually a fantastic, low-cost brand but it didn't really make the cut. Therefore, I won't be purchasing this again.
Collection Naturally Matte Foundation in Ivory
I am a big fan of matte finish foundations and as I am a big fan of the collection
eye shadows and lip products - I thought I'd try one of their face products. However, I was disappointed with this one. The first issue was the fact that despite it being the lightest shade they sell, it was very dark and very orange - making it look fake on the skin. Also, the consistency of the actual foundation is very oily and difficult to apply to the skin evenly - meaning it always looked patchy. Therefore, despite recently discovering and loving the powder, I wasn't impressed at all with the foundation.
Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch
The Maybelline Baby Lips products are loved by most, however I am not the biggest fan. In regards to it being a lip balm, it doesn't really do anything for me and I am also not a fan of the way the colour comes out on the lips - as it is difficult to apply consistently and on me, usually ends up looking a bit cheap and messy. I love most Maybelline products but when it comes to Baby Lips; I am not a fan.
George super boost foundation in ivory silk
When I saw Asda George had released an own line makeup brand, I thought I'd give it a go and see how it was. However, despite the product being usable (although nothing special), the packaging isn't the best. The glass bottle is very fragile compared to other brands and cracks easily; and also the pump doesn't always work. With this product, I would use it without the pump; but wouldn't go out of my way to buy it again.
Barry M Loud lips lip paints
These lip products are a great colour and very pigmented, but the actual products for me, are not up to the usual fantastic standards of Barry M. They do not dry in the slightest - so always get smudged and after a couple of hours ends up everywhere! Also, the packaging makes them difficult to apply and they are very messy - so I won't unfortunately be buying anymore.
These are 5 beauty products I'm not a fan of - but if you have these and love them let me know bellow! Or, if you have tips for using them in a way that makes them amazing then let me know in the comments also!
