Fashion: OOTD - Day 14 - Season Switch-up

With Summer ending and Autumn beginning; I wanted to find a way to wear my summer clothes in the cooler Autumn months - hence I created this outfit! I wanted to wear these short dungarees and cut out shoes all year round; so based my outfit around them.

I started with these dungaree shorts (Primark, £14) that bought in the summer and loved; and paired them with this burgundy boxy knitted sweater (New Look, £10), black tights (Primark, £2) and a black vest top (Matalan, £4) to give it a more Autumnal feel. I finished off the outfit with these black cut out shoes (New Look, £16) that I also wore all summer and wanted to wear in the Autumn too.

For hair; I wore this fishtail french braid into a messy side bun to keep my hair out of my face whilst still looking cute and being comfortable. I also wore my leather Fatima hand necklace (£6, from a market in Marrakesh) and my black tattoo choker (£2.99, New Look). Finally for makeup, I wore a sheer darker red lipstick (Collection lipstick in seduction) and put all the focus on the eyes with a taupe eyeshadow (Maybelline colour tattoo in permanent taupe and Urban decay toasted from the Naked 1 palette), a dark brown shadow for eyeliner (from the Revolution eyeshadow palette) and white shimmery shadow in the inner corner (from the same palette); then I finished it off with black mascara.

With this outfit, I wanted to show that items of clothing don't have to be just for one season and can be paired with other items to suit any season of the year!
