Fashion & Beauty: Budget Style

Today I thought I'd share some budget outfits and a makeup look to give you some ideas of how to save money yet still look stylish in an outfit you can love. I know how hard it can be to create outfits you love with only a small budget; so I thought I'd give you some ideas of how I save money on fashion and beauty.

Fashion.

Outfit Under £10

This outfit I created for a total of £9.99. The floral skater dress is by the brand Edge Sportswear but was purchased on eBay for £2! I paired it with black tights (Primark, £2) and turquoise slip on daps (£3, Primark). To finish off the outfit, I paired it with this long black blazer coat (free as it was a birthday present) and a black tattoo choker (£2.99, New Look).

Outfit Under £20
This outfit cost me a total of £17.50. I started the outfit with this coral crop top (£1) and blue high waist skinny jeans (£10) which are both from Primark. I paired it with this light pink shirt by the brand Asda George; but I bought it for £1.50 at a car-boot sale. Finally, I finished off the outfit with these white tropical leaf print slip on daps (£4).

Beauty.

Makeup look Under £10
This look cost a total of £9.98. I started with Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation (£4.99 on sale) and Rimmel stay matte powder (£2.99). For eyes, I wore a light brown eyeshadow on my lid and a darker brown eyeshadow for eyeliner (both from the same Milani quad, £1 in Poundland) and this brush on false lash extension mascara (free in a Shout magazine). I finished off the look with this dark red lipstick (Wild Berry by MUA) which was £1 in Superdrug. 

With these outfits, I hope I'd show you some of the ways you can save money of beauty and fashion - such as shopping on eBay and at car-boot sales; waiting for items to go on sale; trying out cheaper brands (such as MUA) and of course - shopping at cheaper stores like Primark.
