Fashion: OOTD - Day 4 - Primark Passion

Yesterday I bought myself some new clothes in my local Primark (haul post coming soon) and wanted to try out some of them for college - so I decided to pick a few of the pieces to create a comfy yet stylish outfit (which ended up being fully Primark anyway!).

I based the outfit around this suede button front mini skirt (£10), which I loved for it's 70s inspired style. I paired it with a plain white tee (£2.50) and black cardigan (£6) to make it more comfy and casual; then chose black wool tights (£2.50) and these really awesome tan suede desert boots (£10) to tie together the tan suede, black and white colour scheme.

For hair, makeup and accessories; I wore my usual Fatima hand necklace from Marrakesh and a pair of studs to add a bit of style and glamour. For my hair, I wanted something simple and cute to match the cute skirt and cardigan combo - so I went for two French braids to add a fun and youthful touch. For my makeup, I chose to wear a simple tan eyeshadow (Urban Decay Buck from the Naked 1 palette) with black winged eyeliner, black mascara (Rimmel Scandal eyes Rockin' Curves mascara) and a classic red lip (Rimmel Kate lipstick in Red Nose Day Red).

I think this look is simple, fun and cute with it's nod to the 70s and my childhood (with the cute french braids) and I think the whole of this outfit not only encomposes this; but shows that it is easy to put together cute outfits on a budget.
