Today I decided have only half a day of college but have a few things to do extra which involve me walking around a lot - so I wanted comfy shoes. I found these boots which were perfect and styled the outfit around them; creating this cute and sort of cold weather take on festival fashion.
I wore these brown worker boots from Dr Marten's which are so comfy and despite being about 5 years old (so no longer available, but the Pilloy style Dr Marten boots are very similar, £110 on the Dr Marten's website) they still are in really good condition. I styled it with this flared sleeve floral babydoll mini dress (£1 in the Primark Sale), black tights (£3.99, Asda George) and this khaki jacket (£38, Dorothy Perkins) to complete this super cute outfit.
As I have dancing straight after college, I didn't wear any jewellery in-case I lost it. So to add some more detail to the look I created a twist on classic bunches with my hair by french braiding the top and braiding my fringe before it went into the bunches. For makeup, I used a cream & gold shimmery eyeshadow (Essence's dance all night) and kept the rest classic with black winged liner (Soap & Glory super cat fat felt tip liner), black pencil liner under my eyes (collection soft Kohl pencil in black) and black mascara (Rimmel scandal eyes rockin' curves mascara). Finally on my lips, I used a pink-red lipstick to add a bit of pop to the makeup look (MUA matte lipstick in wild berry).
This overall look is combining some of my favourite items in my wardrobe and as someone who loves the festival style, it is showing that it is easy to convert trends to be worn all year around.
