Fashion: OOTD - Day 16 - Pop of Colour

Today I wanted a comfy outfit that I can walk around in, yet also sit for long periods of time in as I haven't got much of a break today. I chose to wear these comfy jogger trousers and style the outfit around them.

I wore these comfy monochrome printed joggers (Sports Direct, £7.50) with this turquoise long sleeve t-shirt (Primark, £3.50) and turquoise slip on daps (Primark, £3). I finished off the outfit with this stud shoulder denim jacket (from Matalan about 4 years ago) to bring together the look.

For hair, I kept it curled from my dance dress rehearsal yesterday; and just pinned back my fringe on both sides to keep it out of my face in college. For jewellery, I kept it simple with just my Fatima hand necklace (£6, Marrakesh Souks). Then for makeup, I wore a light tan eyeshadow (Urban Decay naked from the Naked 1 palette) and a dark green eyeliner (Rimmel soft Kohl pencil in Jungle Green) and black mascara. Finally, I finished it off with a nude pink lip colour (Rimmel Apocalips matte in Atomic Rose).

This outfit is for me a way of being cute and comfy at the same time in an outfit I can feel confident in. I think that matching monochrome prints and bright colours are a simple way of creating a put together outfit with very little effort!
