Music: Favourite album of the moment.

Recently I downloaded Taylor Swift's 1985 album on whim after hearing all of the hype over it and it is safe to say that it didn't just meet expectations, but easily exceeded them! It is a mix of 16 songs (plus the single version of bad blood with Kendrick Lamar). I thought I'd share my top 5 favourites!

5.
Welcome To New York
This song is fun with a great beat and catchy chorus. It is definitely one that I can see being a future hit at parties as it is a great song to dance to! Also, the music video is brilliant and the fact that all the proceeds go to charity from the single is fantastic!

4.
Blank Space
Blank Space is my favourite song to sing in the car at the top of my voice when on long journeys! The drama and story in the video makes it epic to watch and the videography is perfection! It is a great song and the lyrics are so well written!

3.
Bad Blood (feat. Kendrick Lamar)
I loved the original version of Bad Blood from the 1989 album - but when Taylor Swift released the new version and the video for it - I was in complete awe. The stronger beat and rap verses made the song even better than it was before and the music video is genius! Not only was the storyline brilliant but every single famous face in the video acted fantastically to bring alive the story.

2.
New Romantics
This song was an extra released on the 1989 deluxe edition - and I wish it has been released sooner! It is a catchy, fun tune and is one of my favourites to listen to while working due to it's upbeat tune being a good motivator.

1.
Out of the Woods
Out of all of the songs on 1989 - from the moment I heard it this was my favourite. It has a catchy tune; great rhythm and genius lyrics. I am patiently waiting for this one to be released as a single and I am so excited to see the video when it is!

If you've seen this album then what is your favourite song? And, if not, I highly recommend downloading it from iTunes and checking it out!

"your lucky enough to be
different? never change."
- Taylor Swift.
