Fashion: OOTD - Day 15 - Casual Twists

Today I have a jam packed busy day at college so want to be casual and comfortable; yet as I think you can already tell from my previous OOTDs - I am not one for classic casual style! Therefore, I created this casual outfit but gave it a couple of unique twists.

I started with my favourite high waist blue denim jeans (£10, Primark) and a black long sleeve crop top (£4, Primark) to give it a modern twist. I then styled it with this oversized stripe black and cream cardigan (£10, Primark) to give it a more comfy feel.  Finally, I bought together the look with these off-white and black star design creepers (£10, eBay).

For my hair, I kept it simple with just loosely fishtail braiding it and twisting my fringe out of my face to give a simple but elegant style. For makeup, I wore a statement turquoise and silver eyeshadow (Rimmel Kate shadow stick in Pure Turquoise and the silver & teal glitter shades from the revolution shadow palette) and a dark purple eyeshadow for eyeliner (also from the revolution shadow palette). Finally for jewellery, I wore my leather Fatima hand necklace from Marrakesh (£6). Ignore my one red eye in all the photos; I stabbed myself in the eye with a mascara wand doing my makeup!

With this look, I aimed to be comfy, yet still show of my own personal style (which I hoped I achieved). I combined traditional and unique pieces to create this different take on a classic t shirt, jeans and a cardigan outfit.
