Lifestyle: Room Tour

Today I decided to give you all a tour of the room I write, photograph and plan all of my blog posts from! It hopefully will also give you an insight into me and my personality a bit more!!! This is an overview of my whole room. I love the pink, union jack and zebra theme running through as I think it sums me up perfectly!

This area is where I keep my hair tools and the full length mirror I use for doing my hair are. Also, on top of the chest of drawers is where I do my makeup for my blog posts - I love having the 3 mirrors so I can easily get the details on my makeup perfects and clearly see what I am doing. I also store my makeup in this plastic drawer unit so it is always easy to hand. Above this I have 2 shelves - one with all my "beauty" products (hairspray, shower gel, dry shampoo etc.) and my perfumes. The shelf above has necklaces and some memory items - such as ornaments and photos - that I have collected over the years.

The chest of drawers and wardrobe are where I keep my clothes so they are organised and easy access for choosing outfits in the morning. On top of the wardrobe I keep some old soft toys and a selection of games that I use the most (such as the walking dead, monopoly and my Residential Evil Wii controller).

My bedside table has all my note book, pens and paper that I use for homework and to plan my blog; my headphones, iPhone speakers and electronic cables and my old school paperwork. On my bedside table, I have my iPhone charger and a couple of photos from my dance group shows. Under my bed I just have a lot of old school stuff, photos and games that I rarely use; and on it, I have union jack bedding (gifted), a fair-isle bed runner (£5, Primark), a stripe throw blanket (£20, a souk stall in Marrakesh), my Dan & Phil cat whiskers pillow (£18.21 redbubble.com), my WW2 theme teddy (£10, the Imperial War Museum in London), and my 4 disney store soft toys (Mickey Mouse, £10; Anna, £16; Stitch, £8; and Sulley, gifted).

On the bottom of my bookshelves I have my sewing machine and all my books (including my holy trinity books which are on display!). On the next shelf up I have my sewing box, all my crime solving, roller coaster tycoon and disney PC games, and my mini sitar I bought in Marrakesh. Finally on the top shelves, I have a few more PC games, my jewellery boxes, a couple of photos, my ballerina ornament, and a couple of souvenirs from Marrakesh (a drum and a mirror). In the corner of my room next to the bookshelves, I have my college, work and dance bags; a wardrobe full of old bags and dance costumes; and a box of college work from last year and spare school supplies.

Finally I have my desk area. On the shelves underneath I just have paperwork, my old netbook, a spare laptop case, my phone box and all the software for my laptop. On top of my desk, I have all of my CDs, a couple of nick-nacks, my two TARDIS'; my signed Artem Chigvintsev photo and my mini-raptor dinosaur fossil. Next to my desk I have all my DVDs, box sets and my cards against humanity.

I have decorated my room with a selection of posters (varying from Harry Potter and the Hunger Games, to Youtubers to Strictly Come Dancing); some YSL postcards from Marrakesh, my article I wrote for the local paper, certificates and photos. I also have my notice board with loads of memories and bits & pieces from over the years.

I hope you enjoyed this little insight into my room, and let me know if there is anything you'd like to look more at in another post or what your favourite part was!!!
